Risograph & Bookbinding: Create Your Own Pamphlet Book
In this hands-on workshop, participants will design and print their own single-color Risograph covers and then bind them into a pamphlet book. After learning the basics of Risograph printing, you’ll create a striking cover using one vibrant color, focusing on composition and texture. Then, you'll master pamphlet stitching, a simple bookbinding technique, to assemble your book. Perfect for beginners, this workshop combines printmaking and bookbinding, leaving you with a unique, handmade book to take home. All materials are provided.

Sheikha Al Habshi is a Kuwait-based artist, illustrator, and designer. Her work explores identity and self-care in a technological age, focusing on women and marginalized figures in Kuwait and the Middle East. She examines their evolution in both digital and conservative spaces, addressing gender roles and sexuality within her cultural context. Sheikha uses traditional materials like paint and markers, along with digital tools such as Adobe and Procreate. She has collaborated with various publications and projects in Kuwait and the GCC, as well as international organizations like The Arab British Centre in the UK and TSUNO in Australia.
